California dream'n.....on sucha winters day!

We are having the coldest temps that NW Ohio has seen in 16yrs! Chill factors are -28 sure wish I was strollin the beaches of CA! boy isnt that pic so inviting?! we had a wonderful trip there this fall ..I could get really used to that in my backyard!

Brrrrrrrrrrr another brisk morning in Ohio. Looks like we escaped the big snow they predicted, glad of that but another storm is brewing in the west. Below 0 temps are to come this week..i just hope we dont lose power like we have already this winter, as im sure not cut out to live like "Ingall" family!!

Day after..

Well all the hoopla is over..it comes and goes way too fast! Just taking it easy today, tomarrow the decorations will come down. Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday! We had lots of good memories, family bonding and tons of good FOOD! Today its freezing rain once again here in Ohio..i hope the weatherman is right on this one and by afternoon it will warm up to the 40s. We spent last weekend well 3 days without power..hope to not have to do that anytime soon! I dont think I would have survived "lil house on the prairie" at all..

Garbage?!?!

Edible that is..yum another fav of ours!! to make this you need:
1 box corn chex cereal

1 box cheerios cereal

1 bag plain M&Ms

1 bag pretzel sticks

1 can unsalted peanuts

1 bag wiltons white melting chocolate

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, melt the chocolate to the directions on the bag. Pour over the ingredients in the bowl stir to coat all well. Let cool and break apart store in an airtight container..ENJOY!
