Goodbye 2008..hello 2009!

Day after..

Well all the hoopla is over..it comes and goes way too fast! Just taking it easy today, tomarrow the decorations will come down. Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday! We had lots of good memories, family bonding and tons of good FOOD! Today its freezing rain once again here in Ohio..i hope the weatherman is right on this one and by afternoon it will warm up to the 40s. We spent last weekend well 3 days without power..hope to not have to do that anytime soon! I dont think I would have survived "lil house on the prairie" at all..

Garbage?!?!

Edible that is..yum another fav of ours!! to make this you need:
1 box corn chex cereal

1 box cheerios cereal

1 bag plain M&Ms

1 bag pretzel sticks

1 can unsalted peanuts

1 bag wiltons white melting chocolate

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, melt the chocolate to the directions on the bag. Pour over the ingredients in the bowl stir to coat all well. Let cool and break apart store in an airtight container..ENJOY!

We have a group of friends that meet monthly to create cards we call ourselves "Shadow Me Greetings" The theme for Nov was do your own Christmas cards..here mine!

Its beginning to look alot like Christmas here in NW Ohio. We have a blanket of snow on the ground..its really pretty but brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr its cold!

Meet Karman, we rescued her from the humane society a year ago. Shes part beagle/terrier and LOVES to talk! dont let her pretty holiday collar and innocent look fool ya..shes all pup too!

We have a new addition to our family of furbabies, this is Max ..hes a 1yo doxey. Karman isnt too sure she really wanted a brother or sister yet. Over all they dont get along too bad..
